"As a child it was common to find me at the kitchen table drawing horses, cowboys, and Indians on any scrap of paper or grocery sack I could lay my hands on," says Ron.
Ron Emig's early interest in such subjects developed into his emphasis on Western Art. Ron has traveled extensively throughout the west, taking photographs and going to reenactments, gathering research material for his art.
In 2006 Ron was named Artist of the Year for the third time by Mid Missouri Fine Art Society. His art can be found in collections across the country.
