| Doris Foxe (Chesterfield, MO)
In the mid sixties Doris studied at Mission Renaissance Art School in New York City where she adopted the styles of the classical masters and impressionists. Since, she has traveled widely through out much of Europe, Scandinavia and the Mediterranean as well as Nigeria, West Africa.
It has been said that her floral paintings are reminiscent of Georgia O'Keefe. To quote Doris, "The larger than life the painting, the more abstract it becomes. Art changes the ordinary to the exceptional."
